Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) announced yesterday (1 September) that it is continuing to adjust its operations in response to Hurricane Gustav.

The airline stated that it would be resuming flight operations at Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola in Florida; Jackson, Mississippi; and Monroe, Louisiana, today (2 September).

Various airports in Alabama, East Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi are still being affected by Hurricane Gustav and are therefore subject to delays and advance cancellations.

Resumption of Continental's operations in New Orleans, as well as some other cities, is subject to further evaluation.
