A Qantas flight was diverted to Frankfurt on Sunday (31 August) due to a vibration in the engine.
Flight 31 was operating a service from Sydney to London and was forced to divert and land at Frankfurt Airport at around 15:15.
A spokesperson for the airline said that the landing was not an emergency, but a technical issue with engine four of the Boeing 747-400 aircraft, The Age, Australia reported.
Passengers were reportedly grounded at Frankfurt Airport for up to 12 hours, before boarding an alternative Qantas flight to London.
