Singapore Airlines has announced that it will be starting a new service from Singapore to Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, on 14 December 2008.
The service, which goes via Dubai, will be operated four times weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, using Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
Additionally, Singapore Airlines will be increasing the frequency of its services between Singapore and Istanbul in Turkey, via Dubai. From 26 October 2008 the airline will be operating six flights, rather than two, on the route per week.
This will mean that the airline will fly to Istanbul on every day except Wednesdays.
