ForeScout Technologies, a provider of network access control (NAC) and policy management solutions for large enterprises, has reported that the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is using its CounterACT family of network appliances.

The FAA has added the CounterACT appliances to its Strategic Sourcing for the Acquisition of Various Equipment and Supplies (SAVES) contract with GTSI.

CounterACT was approved as an Agency standard by the Technology Control Board of the FAA. It is now being used by FAA networks across the US to bolster security, achieve cost efficiencies and minimise risk, ForeScout Technologies said.
