New communications director for Boeing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa

US aircraft manufacturer Boeing Co (NYSE: BA) has announced the appointment of Chantal Dorange as director of corporate communications for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Dorange takes over in this role from Charlie Miller, who was recently named vice president of international corporate communications.

Her responsibilities will include overseeing a network of company and consultant communicators in more than a dozen markets across the region, Boeing said.

Since 2002 Dorange has worked with Boeing and was previously the communications director for Spain and Central and Eastern Europe. Earlier she was director of public affairs and communications at Baxter in Spain and also held various communications and public affairs positions at Merck & Co in Spain and the United States.
