Aloha Air Cargo fleet service workers to join Teamsters union

Aloha Air Cargo's fleet service workers have voted to join the International Brotherhood of Teamsters union.
The 210 workers, who were previously represented by the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers, voted 2-to-1 to join Local 986 in So. El Monte, California, in a vote coordinated by the US National Mediation Board.
The airline consists of the cargo operations of the former Aloha Airlines, which ceased operations as a passenger carrier on 31 March 2008.
