API signs aviation batteries distribution agreement with Saft

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2009 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Aerospace Products International Inc (API), a subsidiary of First Aviation Services Inc (PINKSHEETS: FAVS), has been appointed by battery maker Saft as an authorised worldwide distributor for its aviation batteries.
Saft is a manufacturer of nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries and produces batteries for all types of aircraft.
API provides distribution and supply chain services and the company is an authorised distributor to the aviation industry for more than 160 OEM products. Saft is the exclusive Ni-Cd battery supplier for API.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
