United Airlines reports December traffic

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2009 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
United Airlines (Nasdaq: UAUA) has released its traffic results for December 2008.
Revenue passenger miles for the month showed a decrease of 11.5% compared to December 2007, while available seat miles dropped by 12.7%, resulting in a load factor of 79.9%, an increase of 1.1 percentage points.
For the full year 2008 United recorded a decrease in revenue passenger miles of 6.5% compared to 2007, while available seat miles dropped by 4.5%, resulting in a fall in load factor of 1.8 percentage points at 81.0%.
