Hamilton Sundstrand signs APU support agreement with Global Aviation Holdings

Hamilton Sundstrand, a supplier of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products and a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp (NYSE: UTX), announced on Wednesday that the company's REVIMA APU business, a company that repairs and overhauls APUs for most Boeing and Airbus aircraft, has signed a long-term Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) support agreement with Global Aviation Holdings .
Under the five-year agreement REVIMA APU will provide exclusive repair services for all APUs installed on MD11 and Boeing 747-400 airplanes operated by World Airways, a Global Aviation Holdings subsidiary.
In addition, the agreement also includes access to REVIMA APU's pool of spare PW901A APUs for the Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
Financial details of the agreement were not available.
