Amerijet acquires SRX Transcontinental with operations in Central Asia

Transportation and logistics provider Amerijet International Inc said on Friday that it has acquired Florida-based SRX Transcontinental Inc for an undisclosed sum.
SRX specialises in ground handling operations throughout Central Asia and also owns an airline, Avialeasing Aviation Company, which is certificated in Uzbekistan and has US DOT Part 129 authority.
The sales, charter operations and contract maintenance of Antonov An-12 and An-26 aircraft based in Uzbekistan and Miami, Florida are managed by SRX and Avialeasing.
Amerijet's CEO David Bassett said that this acquisition is expected to support the company's efforts to establish regional cargo operations throughout Central Asia.
