Virgin Atlantic to lease 10 new Airbus A330s from AerCap

Virgin Atlantic Airways has signed a letter of intent with AerCap Holdings NV (NYSE:AER) for the purchase and leaseback of six aircraft, the Dutch-based aviation company said today.
The proposed deal covers six Airbus A330-300s that Virgin Atlantic has on order with Airbus.
AerCap will also lease four additional Airbus A330-300 aircraft to Virgin Atlantic.
No financial details were announced.
All aircraft will be leased for 12-year terms. Deliveries are scheduled for 2011 and 2012.
