Mazda testing DPF-equipped delivery van
Diesel Fuel News, June 9, 2003
According to diesel particulate filter maker NGK, Mazda is testing NGK's silicon-carbide DPF on a "Bongo" delivery van, for possible commercial introduction in Japan. Tokyo metro mandates ultra-clean diesels starting in October 2003, so the DPF technology should enable the sale of such vehicles there.
