Akzo/Nippon Ketjen report ULSD license for Countrymark cooperative refinery

Pending final Countrymark board approval later this year, Axens will license "ultra deep hydrodesulfurization" technology for a grass-roots hydrotreater to produce 10-ppm sulfur ULSD at Countrymark's Mt. Vernon, Ind., refinery. This project include's Akzo's "Duplex" liquid distributor and quench package, and the high-activity "Stars" catalyst.
