Thai refiners ready for 350-ppm diesel sulfur limit for 2004

According to a Platts Commodity News survey, Thai refiners are ready to meet a government-mandated 350-pppm diesel sulfur limit by Jan. 1, down from the current 500-ppm limit. Catalyst changes or hydrotreater operating conditions are being modified for the sulfur limits, the report said.
