Hong Kong government proposes big subsidies for diesel-to-LPG minibus conversions

To cut air pollution, Hong Kong legislators are backing a new (U.S.)$33.4 million taxpayer subsidy to replace diesel minibuses with either LP-Gas or electricity, according to a source at Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department. The subsidy would amount to (U.S.)$7,700 to $10,200 per bus, according to a separate report from South China Morning Post.
