Lubrizol Patents An 'Anti-Static Lubricity Additive For ULSD': While not commenting on any potential commercial product that may result, Lubrizol told us it has patented a new additive of up to 1-ppm of a hydrocarbyl monoamine or hydrocarbyl-substituted poly(alkyleneamine) and "10 to 500 ppm of at least one fatty acid containing 8-to-24 carbon atoms or an ester."
