U.S. Mine Safety & Health Administration asks comment on proposed diesel emissions rule

In a Sept. 25 Federal Register notice, MSHA asks for advice and comment on how best to develop and apply diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology, a question that potentially could prompt more widespread use of ULSD in underground metal/nonmetal mines.
