Diesel technology forum praises U.S. farm bill grants for cleaner farm engines

New U.S. federal funds are becoming available for low-emissions farm diesel engines, DTF announced this month. Qualifying farmers and ranchers can get up to $450,000 between now and 2007, covering up to 75% of engine upgrade costs that could be combined with state or local government grants. This is especially important in California due to severe restrictions on ag equipment emissions, as DTF's California rep Pam Jones said.
