Study Sees Accelerating Worldwide Growth For Hybrid-Electric Vehicles: Auto analyst ABI says the next round of hybrids will be much larger vehicles, rather than the Toyota Prius or the Honda Insight small cars. Even so, only about 500,000 such vehicles will be produced worldwide by 2007, but would double by 2010, the forecast shows.
