> Flint Hills Aims To Desulfurize Distillates At Former Williams Refinery In Alaska: Flint Hills (formerly Koch) just bought the 220,000 barrels/day refinery and says it will invest in new hydrotreating for low-sulfur fuel, as EPA will require in Alaska by 2010. The refinery produces mostly jet fuel for the airlines, cargo carriers and military planes operating from/through Alaska and trans-Pacific routes.
