Korea ministry of environment would rescind diesel car ban for 2005, May tie-in clean-fuels mandates

While environmental groups are upset over reports of recission, their concerns may be premature, since South Korea may mandate ULSD and possibly move toward diesel particulate filters (DPFs) for new cars starting in 2005. Diesel fuel tax subsidies also would be slashed, according to reports.
