Danes, norwegians putting SCR on diesel-powered ships for NOx control

Munters reports that Danish line DFDS and Norway's Havila Supply are putting its selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems on ships. DFDS is using SCR to control NOx on auxiliary engines on cruise liners. Meantime, Havila is building a new ship in 2003 with original SCR system installed on all engines, Munters says.
