Korea ministry of environment predicts more CNG buses, refueling sites

Diesel Fuel News, Jan 21, 2002

While high-cost problems may thwart Korea's 5,000 CNG bus plan by 2005 (see Diesel Fuel News 10/15/2001, p14), Korea's Environment Ministry last week optimistically foresees addition of about 1,500 CNG buses and 61 refueling stations added this year. Diesel intra-city buses won't be produced in Korea this year, the Ministry said.

No mention was made of ULSD technology as an alternative to costly CNG.
