Connecticut DEP promotes reduction in diesel school bus idling
Diesel Fuel News, Feb 4, 2002
The new policy adopted by the state enviro agency and the state School Transportation Association requires diesel bus operators to cut their engine while awaiting passengers, in order to reduce emissions that could be especially harmful to children. A similar policy was adopted in Vermont two months ago.
