China investigating diesel-electric hybrids

Minghua Group announced the opening of a diesel-electric hybrid R&D center in Shenzen, China, aiming to bring low-emissions hybrid buses and mini-buses to public transport sector. C.C. Chan, president of World Electric Vehicle Association, heads the center.
