ExxonMobil claims new engine oils meet cat ECF-1 specification for heavyduty diesel

The oils, developed to help Cat meet EPA's accelerated 2002 emissions regs, promote soot dispersion, wear control and piston deposit control, ExxonMobil said. To qualify, the lubes must have a sulfated ash level less than 1.5 wt%.
