PSA to extend service interval to 100,000 KM for cerium/DPF-equipped cars

Diesel Fuel News, March 18, 2002

PSA/Peugeot continues to expand the use of a cerium fuel-borne catalyst (FBC) to boost diesel PM filter regeneration at lower exhaust temps, Rhodia reports (SAE 20020-01-0436). With over 133,000 vehicles fitted with the system, none have had a DPF-based recall, and PSA is adding even more new models.
