Japan sensor maker touts diesel fuel purity detector, catches illegal blends

OSP has a new compact sensor that can determine diesel fuel purity from truck tanks in about five seconds, according to a report from Nihon Keizai Shimbun. This new sensor could aid roadside fuel purity enforcement and thus stop the blending of untaxea diesel with regular diesel, the report said.
