Attachmate Corp has launched KEA! X 4.1, its new PC X server and Unix host access system.

Designed to provide Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT users with an X-focused TCP/IP system, the product also supports enterprise systems using VT, TN3270e and TN5250 emulation, which enables access to IBM mainframe and AS/400 hosts.

Features include a management console, transparent file and print access to Unix hosts and X web support, which allows X applications to integrate into Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. KEA! X 4.1 is priced at GBP295 while upgrades cost GBP95.
