Hewlett-Packard Co has launched an enhanced version of its TopTools 4.5 network device management software.
The HP TopTools 4.5 Value Pac features remote trouble-shooting and configuration of PCs, expanded support for the discovery and identification of devices on IP and IPX networks, enhanced alert reception and notification and HP's new system performance advisor. The pack is available now, priced at USD995.

In addition, the company has introduced the HP TopTools for Microsoft Systems Management Server 2.0, which automatically customises and enhances Microsoft's Systems Management Server 2.0 environment with asset management, software distribution and control capabilities for HP resources. The software is also available now for USD695.
