Macromedia Inc has made available the Macromedia UltraDev 4 Fireworks 4 Studio, its web application development system comprising the company's Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 and Fireworks 4 software products.
Dreamveaver UltraDev 4, which is designed to enable web application builders to accelerate development without sacrificing control and access to source code, contains all of the features found in Macromedia's Dreamweaver 4 software as well as new features specific to application building.

The other product in the Studio system, Fireworks 4, is tightly integrated with Dreamweaver UltraDev to transparently manage the exchange of graphics, layouts and code between applications.
The UltraDev 4 Fireworks 4 Studio is available for GBP499. A standalone version of Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 costs GBP399 while a standalone version of Fireworks 4 is priced at GBP229.
