Embarcadero Europe has launched XPlan, a new software tool to improve the speed and accuracy at which Oracle database administrators work.
The tool provides the administrators with a graphical interface that highlights potential and existing problems, for instance with disk space, table space or memory usage. It can also project disk space growth by analysing the most recent growth trends.
Initially XPlan will work with Oracle 8 databases. Pricing was not revealed.
