Worldwide Computer Products News-15 March 2000-Corel to offer free download of PHOTO-PAINT 9 for Linux software (C)1995-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com
Corel Corp says it intends to make available in early 3Q'2000 a free download of its PHOTO-PAINT 9 for Linux photo-editing, image composition and painting application software.
A retail version of Corel's DRAW 9 graphics suite for Linux, which includes PHOTO-PAINT 9, will ship in late 3Q'2000.
By providing its graphics applications for the Linux platform the company hopes to encourage more users to incorporate Linux in their workflow.
