The US e-business systems developer Unisys Corp has introduced e-@ction Enterprise Server Software 3.0, the latest version of its server management product.
Included with Unisys' e-@ction Enterprise Servers ES7000 and ES5000, the new release introduces Server Director, which integrates Enterprise Server Software's tools with NetIQ AppManager technology to provide centralised monitoring and management of Windows-based servers and operating systems.

Version 3.0 also includes Computer Associates' NetworkIT 2.0 network management product and B&L Associates' Vertices media management software.
Enterprise Server Software 3.0 will be delivered in January 2001 on Unisys' ES7000 and ES5000 servers. Unisys will also make available upgrades from previous releases of the software. Pricing was not revealed.
