Seagate Technology Llc has expanded its digital data storage products line with a bundled system called TapeStor DAT 240.
Targeted at small- and medium-sized business customers, the new system aims to provide an end-to-end back-up and restore system for a wide range of networks.
The product combines the Scorpion 240 DDS-4 autoloader with a range of tools, such as server system software for Windows NT/2000 and Novell Netware, a six-cartridge magazine and multi-language instructions.

The Scorpion 240 autoloader offers up to 240Gb of compressed capacity while the cartridge magazine holds six DDS-4 40Gb cartridges. Other features include full compatibility with all DDS-1, DDS-2, DDS-3 and DDS-4 cartridges and data transfer rates of up to 5.5Mb/s.
The TapeStor DAT 240 bundle is available now. Pricing details were not available.
