PeopleSoft has expanded its portfolio of PeopleSoft 8 enterprise performance management (EPM) systems with a range of new collaborative business planning products.

The new products include PeopleSoft 8 Business Planning and Budgeting, Customer Behaviour Modelling (CBM) and Workforce Planning. Business Planning and Budgeting comprises collaborative financial planning applications designed to facilitate continuous forecasting and measurement of business information, while the CBM product is a tool that analyses information to help businesses gain a deeper understanding of its customers. Workforce Planning, meanwhile, is an application that can be used by companies to model skills and competencies, plan succession and determine workforce strengths and weaknesses.
In addition PeopleSoft has enhanced the EPM portfolio with four solution-specific data warehouses for customer relationship management, financials, human resource management and supply chain management.
The new products will be generally available in 4Q'2001. Pricing was not revealed.
