Sun Microsystems has released a number of new upgrades and enhancements for the Solaris 8 Operating Environment.
The 07/01 upgrade includes features that enhance the ability to install images and manage changes on the Solaris OE. Also, according to the company, a number of improvements have been made that now allow up to five times greater web server performance.
The upgrade is available immediately in the form of a free download for systems with eight or fewer CPUs.
