Palm Inc has released Palm Desktop v4.0, the latest version of its personal information management software for Palm-branded handheld computers.
The software, which synchronises existing Palm handheld computers, such as Palm Pilot and the Palm III, V and VII series, with Microsoft Corp's Windows desktop systems, can be used to view, sort, find, edit and back up data in the Palm handheld.
