The Canadian telecomms equipment maker Nortel Networks has released Clarify eFrontOffice 10.0, the latest version of its application suite for routing, integrating and consolidating web, phone and face-to-face customer interaction.

The new version extends several new features from version 9.0 to a Unix operating platform, including eOrder, which enables companies to set up a web storefront that leverages workflow for taking, tracking and managing orders online, and eSupport, which allows online customers to query and view current or previous cases, conduct online chat sessions and request call-me.

Clarify eFrontOffice 10.0 will ship first on Sun Solaris, offering Oracle database support. Future versions will support HP-UX/Oracle and AIX/UDB platforms.

Pricing was not revealed.
