NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display-UK Ltd, a unit of NEC Corp's and Mitsubishi's Tokyo-based joint venture NEC-Mitsubishi Electric Visual Systems Corp, has launched a new 18.1-inch thin film transistor (TFT) display.

Targeted at office environments, the MultiSync LCD1830 liquid crystal display monitor offers Omnicolor support to provide optimum colour accuracy and authenticity according to the company. The pixel spacing of the display is 0.28mm, which allows a viewing angle both vertically and horizontally of 160 degrees and gives a maximum resolution of 1280x1024 at 60Hz.

Other features include an ability to display a palette of 16.77m colours, dual inputs to make it possible to connect two PCs and an on-screen manager to enable simple control of all of the monitor's functions.

The MultiSync LCD1830 is available for GBP899 VAT.
