Actuate has launched the latest version of its spreadsheet engine, Formula One for Java.
This newest version, 9.0 is among the products added to the Actuate e.Reporting Suite through the acquisition of Tidestone Technologies on May 31, 2001. Improvements over the older version include JSP Charting API and support for Excel Office XP files, together with support for Excel passwords and the ability to insert images into Excel workbooks.
