NetScout Systems has expanded its nGenius Performance Management suite of monitoring and reporting applications with version 1.2 of its nGenius Real-Time Monitor product.
nGenius Real-Time Monitor offers a set of tools to enable IT managers to maintain web and application performance and to troubleshoot network problems - all in real-time. The system also continuously tracks voice, video and data traffic from the web site to the back office to allow IT staff to detect and analyse traffic performance issues before they affect the end user.

The new version has been enhanced with support for voice over IP, voice over Frame Relay and virtual private networking - providing real-time performance management capabilities for converged voice, video and data networks.
