IBM has released a number of new systems in its IBM eServer family.

The IBM eServer x300 is built upon the x330 1U server capable of utilising two Intel Pentium III processors. It also includes support for two fixed hard drives.

The systems are part of the IBM Project eLiza, a program aimed at creating self-managing servers.

Pricing starts at under USD1,500.
