California-based Edify Corp has released version 7.2 of Electronic Workforce, its customer interaction management platform.
The latest version offers upgrades to the automated and assisted management of customer-driven e-mail traffic from the contact centre. For instance the software's auto response function has been augmented with an assisted e-mail feature that allows companies to view suggested replies to their customers' service requests and choose one.

Version 7.2 also provides enhanced speech recognition capabilities, enabling customers to use speech recognition technology from a range of companies such as Nuance, Vocalis and SpeechWorks. In addition customers will now have the option to use their own computer telephony desktop applications with the Electronic Workforce platform.
Pricing details were not revealed.
