Software for e-business provider Computer Associates International Inc has announced the availability of enhanced versions of five tools that are part of the Unicenter Database Management product.
The new offerings are intended to integrate with the Unicenter Database Management console and make IT operations more efficient while improving database availability and performance.

The five tools are the Unicenter DBA v5.2 for heterogeneous database management, the Unicenter Enterprise DBA v5.2 for administration of Oracle database implementations, the Unicenter Database Analyzer v2.2 for data collection, the Unicenter TSreorg v3.1 for the reduction of fragmentation and the Unicenter Fast Unload v4.1 for data extraction.
No prices for any of the tools were revealed.
