Internet tools provider Macromedia Inc has launched its Contribute desktop application for updating and publishing web content.
Macromedia claims that users of the product need not know HTML and that it is possible for users to drag and drop Microsoft Word or Excel documents from a desktop on to a web page. Contribute is built on the core HTML authoring engine of Macromedia Dreamweaver MX.
