Computer Associates International Inc has announced the immediate availability of the new version of its Advantage Ingres Enterprise Relational Database.
Version 2.6 delivers enhancements over older versions in the form of increased performance and scalability, support for web services applications and reduced total cost of ownership. In addition, enhanced query optimisation and execution techniques are offer as well as advanced data storage techniques, according to the company.
