PC and Macintosh compatible storage peripherals provider LaCie has released the hot-pluggable PocketDrive CD-RW
The PocketDrive CD-RW, which has both USB2.0 and high-speed FireWire interfaces, can write a full 650MB CD-RW in four minutes according to the company. The addition of the USB 2.0 is intended to make data transfer rates via USB comparable with the speeds experienced with a FireWire connection.
Pricing starts at GBP209+VAT.
