Apple Computer Corp has unveiled its new iMac range of PCs.

The new range features a 15-inch LCD flat screen attached to a hemispherical base by an adjustable arm. Three configurations are available.

The first version is priced at GBP1,599 VAT and features a 800 MHz PowerPC G4 processor with DVD-R/CD-RW SuperDrive optical drive, 256Mb SDRAM and 60Gb Ultra ATA hard drive.

The second configuration has a 700 MHz processor, DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo optical drive, 256Mb SDRAM and 40Gb Ultra ATA hard drive for the price of GBP1,299 VAT.

Finally, the third version sells for GBP1,149 VAT and includes a 700 MHz processor, CD-RW optical drive, 128Mb SDRAM and a 40Gb Ultra ATA hard drive.

The three models will be made available in late January, February and March respectively.
