Support automation software provider SupportSoft has revealed three new products that are each designed to manage a company's infrastructure.
Together, the three new offerings - Auto Discovery and Metering, Auto Secure and Recover and Auto Release and Resolve - are used to resolve problems such as virus attack recovery or problems from software as well as discovering any IT asset that is underused and metering which software is used when. The company has also claimed that the products can improve security, incident response and give IT administrators more control over desktops.

All of the products will be made available in the third quarter of 2002. To date, no pricing details have been revealed.
